About

I started by building technical systems. Then I became increasingly interested in the people inside them.

I’m Vipindev Shambu, a software engineer studying psychology, leadership, and human behaviour. My long-term direction is applied behavioural science: turning careful observation and psychological insight into useful changes in products, teams, and organisations.

The thread through it all

Psychologically driven. Scientifically implemented.

Software gives me a systems lens.

Psychology gives me a human lens.

Leadership gives me an organisational lens.

The journey

A path that makes more sense in retrospect

Learning to think in systems

B.E. Mechanical Engineering · NMAM Institute of Technology

Mechanical engineering gave me an early language for constraints, feedback, failure, and interconnected parts.

Building and leading on the frontend

K12 Techno Services · Bengaluru

As a frontend developer, I worked on project architecture, development standards, mentoring, and team delivery.

Studying how interfaces collect and communicate

Kroger Technology

I worked on frontend algorithms and tools for user-data collection, deepening my interest in the relationship between interfaces and behaviour.

Engineering at consequential scale

Walmart Global Tech India · Bengaluru

My work focuses on checkout experiences, where clarity, accessibility, performance, and trust meet under real-world constraints.

Bringing the human lens into focus

Psychology, leadership, and applied behavioural science

Formal study and independent practice are helping me connect technical systems with motivation, attention, decision-making, and organisational behaviour.
